Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern translation services offered by pivotlyre.com to customers in Ukraine.
1. Scope of services
We provide written translation services from one language into another and related document handling upon request. The exact source text, target language, format requirements, deadlines, and any special instructions are defined in the order or project description confirmed by the customer.
2. Delivery, estimates, and acceptance
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, delivery time is an estimate based on the information available at the time the order is accepted. Delivery may depend on file quality, completeness of source material, and responsiveness of the customer.
Upon delivery, the customer should review the translation promptly. If the customer identifies factual or language errors attributable to us and not caused by source-text issues or unclear instructions, we will consider reasonable corrections in accordance with the project terms.
3. Files and confidentiality
We process customer materials solely for fulfilling the agreed translation order. Where practical, we apply administrative and technical safeguards to limit unauthorized access. We do not claim ownership of your documents; you remain responsible for their lawful provision.
If you request special handling (e.g., password-protected files, specific deletion timelines), we will confirm feasibility in the order.
4. “Certified translation” clarification
The term “certified translation” may mean different practices in different contexts. We will specify in the order what is being provided. If an authority requires a particular form, stamp, or attestations, you must provide the exact requirement. We cannot guarantee acceptance by any specific institution unless that acceptance requirement is explicitly confirmed in writing. Where certification is not legally required for the purpose of your submission, we provide translation services without misrepresenting any official authorization.
5. Fees, payment, and refunds (if applicable)
Prices and payment terms are stated in the order confirmation or invoice. If fees include any non-refundable components (for example, initial work already performed), we will describe this in the applicable agreement before work begins.
Refunds, if applicable, depend on the stage of work completed and the scope of the request. We may deny refunds where the translation work has been completed according to the agreed scope and delivery has occurred.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, pivotlyre.com is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Our liability for any breach related to the translation services is limited to the fees paid for the relevant order.
We are not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect or incomplete source materials, unclear customer instructions, formatting issues caused by customer-supplied templates, or requirements imposed by third parties that were not provided to us in the order.
7. Consumer language and information access
Information provided to consumers, and service/customer communication, must be available in Ukrainian on request under Ukraine’s national-language framework. If you need Ukrainian versions of relevant information, please contact us.
8. Personal data, forms, and tracking controls
If the website collects personal data (for example, name, email, or phone) via forms, we process it in accordance with the applicable Ukrainian personal data requirements and provide the necessary information about processing. If identifiers are used for analytics or other purposes, we implement appropriate controls consistent with personal-data obligations.
9. Business identification for online services in Ukraine
When you order translation services online, you may request business identification details and we provide them below.
10. Advertising and truthful presentation
We ensure that the information about our services is not misleading and matches the scope we provide. Any qualifications or authorization claims are only made to the extent they are true and applicable.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. For any disputes, the competent Ukrainian authorities will apply the applicable legal framework.
